Owner of SOS Quality Used Goods and Co-Owner of SOS Superior Decorators

Joe originally started this business as SOS Quick Cash in September 2012, with his good friend Rob Stephens. We are now SOS Quality Used Goods, run predominantly by Joe, who also co-owns SOS Superior Decorators with Rob. He can be seen floating around the stores helping the staff with whatever they require.

Rob opened SOS Quick cash with Joe in 2012. Fast forward to today, and SOS Quality Used Goods is now mainly run by Joe, but Robbie is always there when needed. Robbie now runs SOS Superior Decorators and has his own team of amazing top quality staff.

AJ has worked tirelessly for the company since 2016, and quickly became the General Manager of both branches. He has worked in management and in the second-hand industry for years and absolutely loves the customers he meet on a daily basis. AJ also knows some sign language to communicate with customers should they need it.

Jamie has worked for SOS since 2021, originally as Sales Assistant, eventually progressing to the role of Online Operations Manager, managing the e-bay, e-commerce, and online shop. As a relative of Joe’s he knows the business incredibly well, and is always ready to help customers with whatever they may need.

Leigh has been a part of the team since 2020, and is always on hand to help out. He is very knowledgeable with various types of technology such as cameras, phones, Gaming PC Sets, and much more, and also helps with the running of the online shop.

Shannon has been a part of the team since 2023. She loves to help out around the stores, and also with the running of the online shop, as well as writing the blogs for the website. She is fluent in British Sign Language and loves to use it with any Deaf customers who visit the store.

Sally has been a part of the team since 2023, and can usually be found in the Devonport branch doing an excellent job at serving customers, making sales, and keeping the store sparkling clean.

Libby has been working at SOS since 2019, starting as a Saturday girl and then progressing to a part of the team. She works hard and is always willing to go the extra mile to help out wherever she can.

Gemma can be spotted in the back of our Devonport branch packaging our online orders to be posted all around the country. She is also married to Rob, and is a key part of ensuring our orders are delivered efficiently and on time.

Jodie

Jodie works as the secretary for SOS Superior Decorators, and is a wonderful member of the team, who is always up for a laugh. She also helps transport stock from store to store, and helps Gemma with the online orders.
