Makita DTW180 18V Impact Driver (Body Only)
The Makita DTW180 is a compact, 18 V LXT® lithium-ion cordless impact wrench built around a brushless motor, delivering up to 180 N·m (130 ft-lbs) of fastening torque and a nut-busting torque of 310 N·m (230 ft-lbs) — enough power for a wide range of fastening and loosening tasks. It uses a 3/8″ (9.5 mm) square drive, making socket changes quick and compatibility with many common sockets easy.
Despite its power, the DTW180 remains surprisingly compact and easy to handle: the motor portion is just 55 mm wide, and the tool weighs around 1.2–1.5 kg (body only). Design details aimed at ease-of-use include a soft-grip ergonomic handle, variable-speed trigger control, forward/reverse rotation and an electric brake for safety. It also features a built-in LED job light — a practical addition for working in dim or confined spaces.
